Are there any samurai characteristics that you would like to emulate, or some that you particularly dislike?
Write a short paragraph to answer this question.
And reply to the following two posts
1. I think Budo, Japanese martial arts, is one of aspects of modern Japanese society retaining the samurai custom. It was called Bujutsu in the samurai-era, and samurai had trained various Bujutsu such as Kenjutsu (swordplay), Kyujutsu (archery), and Jujitsu for the battles. Those Japanese classical martial arts had developed, and their names were changed and are called Kendo, Kyudo, and Judo in modern days. Current students and adults are doing Kendo, Kyudo, and Judo in Japan as an extracurricular activity or hobby. Especially, Judo is well-known as one of official Olympic events, and not only Japanese, but also people from different countries have been practiced worldwide these days. So I think This custom remains deeply rooted at the present.
