Solutions for Human Health Insurance
As indicated earlier, health insurance in the United States is expensive.
While the ACA (Affordable Care Act) has made the health insurance more affordable for Americans, cost-sharing and premiums are too expensive.
This leaves a large number of people uninsured (Gee & Waldrop, 2021).
Research has shown that people without health insurance die younger and live sicker.
This is a clear indication that immediate solutions to health insurance need to be found.
Health insurance in the United States is very costly. The high cost of medical coverage leaves many people uninsured. Uninsured people have less access to recommended care, experience worse health outcomes, and receive poor quality of care. This increases their risk of dyeing younger.

One major solution to human health insurance is to make insurance more affordable.
This will help to increase the percentage of people with insurance.
As of 2020, around 297 million individuals in the United States had health insurance.
However, there were still around 30 million individuals in the country without any form of insurance (Statista, 2021).
Another solution to human health insurance is to extend Medicaid further.
This will help millions of people afford and maintain health coverage, thereby, increasing access to healthcare services.
Making health insurance more affordable is a great way to increase the number of people with insurance. The ACA has provided health coverage for many people in the United States, but some families with middle and low income still struggle to find affordable health coverage. Policymakers should, therefore, find ways to make health coverage more affordable to all. Extending Medicaid coverage is also important. This will increase affordability and improve access to care.
