Autobiography Draft: Egypt: Imhotep
Egypt: Imhotep
I am Imhotep of the Greeks; I was born in the 27th century BC in Memphis in Egypt. I was a minister, wise man, architect, astrologer, and prime minister of Djoser and ruled from 2630-2611 BC. I am the second of the third dynasty of Egypt’s kings, who was later worshiped as the god of medicine in Egypt and Greece, where I was identified with the Greek medicine god Asclepius. I am considered the architect of the listed pyramid that was built in the necropolis of Saqqara cemetery in Memphis. The oldest extant monument of hewn stone known in the world, the pyramid consists of six steps and is 200 feet and 61 meters high. Encyclopedias Britannica (2019).
I have been an Egyptian genius and achieved great success in a variety of fields. One of my most important works and accomplishments is that I invented the pyramid, the author of ancient wisdom, the architect, the high priest, the doctor, astronomer, and the writer. To deify or rise to the status of God. (1) My father knew Conover, as a famous architect, and he was the first of a long line of master masons who contributed to Egyptian works during the reign of King Darius I (522-486 BC). My mother's name is kheredu-ankh, who may have come from Mendes County, is known today to deify with me, an ancient Egyptian custom. Encyclopedia (2020).
My high position is found in the court of Djoser, and there is an inscription bearing my name on the site of the pyramid of al-Saqqara. This engraving consists of a variety of titles, and I was famous and represented by a genius with the wisdom that was available to me in the position, I trained as a writer, and I became known as half of the medical god after only 100 years. All of these are strong indications that I should have been a doctor with great skill.
Over the course of three thousand years, it evolved into the sage who in addition to the architecture she mastered are the arts of medicine, magic, astronomy, and astrology (2018). I have been generally considered the inventor or "father" of the pyramids. Besides my work as an engineer, I was pictured as a doctor and medical researcher and was respected by the Egyptians and later the Greeks and Romans. 1 (1) I have known that I was a contemporary of Pharaoh Djoser (also known as Nitrecht) of the Third Dynasty, but estimates of his reign vary by up to 300 years and fall between 2980 and 2,600. Encyclopedia of World Biography (2020).
I was described as "the overseer of everything in this whole land." I was the main advisor to Djoser in all religious and practical matters, and I controlled the judiciary, treasury, war, interior, agriculture, and executive director departments. My wisdom as a religious advisor was widely welcomed to end the horrific famine that ravaged Egypt during the seven years of Djoser's rule. This neglect has resulted in the Nile falling below the flood level sufficient to irrigate Egyptian farms. who had extensive knowledge of appropriate traditions and methods of worship, was able to advise Jose on pacifying the waterfall deity, and allowing the Nile to return to its usual flood level. Encyclopedia (2020).
In the pyramid at Saqqara, is one of my significant accomplishments that people can still see and appreciate to this day, and my reputation rests largely on my accomplishments as the inventor and builder of the pyramid. By far the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the World, this first pyramid - actually only part of a large complex of buildings - was the first structure to be constructed of cut stone. It took 20 years to complete, and given the novelty of the idea and the state of structural science in the Bronze Age, the Macmillan Encyclopedia of Architecture concluded that building it should require "every initiative and courage of a genius like me". Encyclopedia of Global Biography (2020).
I designed this project at Sakkara was designed in its entirety as a medium for the deceased to perform the rituals of the jubilee festival, or Hebsed. The complex consisted of many other buildings, as well as ornamental posts some 37 feet high sculpted into drooping leaves, blooms of papyrus, and sedge flower. These carved stone imitations of the images of Hebsed, which was traditionally carried out in buildings made of plant stems, were finished with a bright green ceramic to make them more colorful and lifelike. The Egyptians believed that a sufficient approximation of the real thing would respond by magic for the deceased to the various incantations of the festival. Encyclopedia of World Biography (2020).
I did the design and inspired by the Egyptian belief that the tomb should "allow the deceased to mix with the stars surrounding the pillar, thus achieving his astral destiny." I wanted the grave to accommodate Pharaoh's ascent to heaven. To do this, she planned to improve the flat, rectangular, or compact benches, which were traditional grave structures. About 600 feet north of the original mastaba, where the internal organs of the mummy were preserved, the pyramid that I built began with another mastaba structure twice the traditional size, about 350 feet on the north and south walls by 400 feet on the east and west. The pyramid was raised above this structure in five successive smaller steps, or cumulative layers, with a passage on the north side leading to the summit. Encyclopedia of Global Biography (2020).
My father had the credit for all of those accomplishments, and I took architecture and its knowledge from him. I was inspired to work with Pharaoh Djoser, who saw me as a consultant, genius, doctor, engineer, and directed my creations. I designed this pyramid, which is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World, to leave a large imprint of me after my death, and for all generations that will come after me, and everyone can read my story to them.
My relationship with people and with my community was very wonderful, and they were based on me in their work and affairs, as a doctor, a magician, an engineer, a machine, and a temple. My feelings were different in this project, as I derived the Djoser pyramid project from several previous ideas. The infrastructure was located in a rectangular pit 4 meters (13 feet) deep, and its mud-brick walls were 6 meters (20 feet) high.
Three sides are extended and constructed to create eight shallow steps that rise at an angle of 49 degrees. This would have been an elongated pyramid if the remaining side had not been left exposed. Parallel to the Djoser complex, I constructed a tight fencing wall to complement this mastaba complex. The superstructure of the step pyramid consisted of six steps and I built it in six stages, I built a raw core out of coarse stones and then wrapped it in soft limestone with an encapsulation between them.
Under the step pyramid, there is a maze of rooms and tunnel galleries that have a total length of about 6 kilometers and are connected to a central column of 7 square meters and 28 meters in depth. These spaces provide space for the king's burial, for family members, and for storing goods and offerings. The burial chamber was a vault of four layers of well-stocked granite. The terraced pyramid (or the first pyramid) is the oldest large-scale stone structures made by man. Wikipedia (2020).
my legacy that I would considered to all is found in the past achievement and present potential of generations of people of African descent. for my Legacy Academy, to reminds the people to continue that legacy and motivate the African Nova Scotian youth of today to become successful scientists, mathematicians, and engineers of tomorrow. Dalhousie University (2020).
I wrote it as my will after my death and in the years after my death, I was honored, and ultimately, I have worshiped by the people at shrines across the country. Just as the worship of the pharaohs was justified by claiming the divine origin usually ascribed to Horus or Ra, so my worship was justified by the claim that Ptah, who served the culture's hero as a priest, was in fact his father. In mythological and historical texts, it is often compared with me, the kind of legacy that I wanted to leave before leaving was to be remembered for my many deeds and accomplishments that I had done in the past. I did not want to be like a machine or a temple for people. I would people remember my Positive and good deeds in my life only. The World Biographical Encyclopedia (2020).
My history was ambiguous in terms of its appearance and disappearance, despite the artistic creativity that it brought about in architecture and my many medical discoveries, but it was written to me that it disappeared in a strange and very mysterious way from Paranoiac history so that it no longer remembers anything about me as if I had not existed before!! What is even more surprising is the disappearance of my grave and the books that he wrote, which makes their disappearance in this mysterious way a mystery in itself! Archaeologists have been unable to find or find my grave or even find some of my books. We also find that the meaning of the name (Imhotep) raises ambiguity as well and becomes a mystery to be added to this character, as the meaning of his name in the Paranoiac language (who came in peace). As if he came and brought about all this urban and medical development and went in complete peace and tranquility. Wikipedia (2020).
