Hiring Manager
TGG Accounting 6162
Nancy Ridge Drive
San Diego, CA 92121
Dear TGG Accounting Hiring Manager:
After reading the TGG Story, I was inspired by how Matt Garrett created this accounting firm out
of his passion for helping businesses make smart decisions and grow successfully. It deeply
resonated with my own desire for helping and supporting others, and I felt connected to this
firm’s purpose in their work. It is with great interest that I am applying for the position of
Accounting Intern at TGG Accounting.
As a business student at California State University San Marcos, my major in Accounting has
introduced me to the analytical and meticulous skills that are necessary for this field. My prior
and current courses have given me a thorough understanding of balance sheets, ledgers, and
financial statements. This means I can execute heavy data entry tasks, and record numbers
onto balance sheets with detailed efficiency for TGG Accounting. Due to my experience as a
waiter, I have become adaptable to constant changes in the fast-paced working environment. I
deliver high-performance during the busiest times of the day, which has trained me to manage
time-sensitive tasks efficiently. My commitment to being proactive and productive can help the
firm with meeting deadlines or accomplishing duties within time constraints. With my quick
situational assessments and confident decision making skills, I provide superior customer
service to hundreds of daily guests. My customer service experience can be an asset at TGG
Accounting to interact with diverse clientele.
From my experiences as a student and as a waiter, I have obtained knowledge in accounting
balance sheets and numerical data, and mastered skills in task efficiency and customer service.
I am passionate about pursuing the accounting career path, and my qualities make me a
competitive candidate. It would be a great pleasure to interview for this opportunity and meet the
team of TGG Accounting.
Sincerely,
Ronald Liu
