The scientific method is a general approach to studying different aspects of the natural world. It all starts with an observation, then a hypothesis, followed by experiments, collection of data and then a conclusion.  

Examine the figure below from Chapter 1, and discuss the complexity of conducting research by giving an example of your own of an example you have read about.
