GRADUATION CEREMONY 2021 PROJECT

Description:

· You have to create your proposal on

Option 1) EU business school student gym;

Option 2) EU business school student residence.

· In your proposal you have to use all material discussed in class to assess the future role of professional Project Manager.

· You must show engagement with the topics learned in class, in particular: formulate the proposal, prepare matrix responsibilities, create WBS & RBS, make estimations of time duration demonstrable in AON, make resources and budget proposals, identify sensitive activities/risks, prepare risk matrix, demonstrate your project on Gantt chart.

· You should make references to real names/people/places, etc. to elaborate your work.

· You are not limited to any budget but try to obtain real numbers from real suppliers (if not possible, estimations are accepted).

· You may quote relevant publications, such as academic journals and books, to support your arguments of conclusions.

Formalities:

· Wordcount: From 1500 to 2500 words.

· Cover, Table of Contents, References and Appendix are excluded of the total wordcount.

· Font: Arial 12,5 pts.

· Text alignment: Justified.

· The in-text References and the Bibliography have to be in Harvard’s citation style.

Outcomes: This task assesses the following learning outcomes:

· Describe the need for a project-based approach inside organizations.

· Understand the role of project management as a strategic element inside organizations.

· Critically assess the roles and responsibilities of a Project Manager.

· Evaluate how to select, develop, plan schedule and measure its outcomes and risks.

Student applies fully relevant knowledge from the topics delivered in class.

Student applies little relevant knowledge from the topics delivered in class. Misunderstands are evident.

Critical Thinking (30%)

Student critically assesses in excellent ways, drawing outstanding conclusions from relevant authors.

Student critically assesses in good ways, drawing conclusions from relevant authors and references.

Student provides some insights but stays on the surface of the topic. References may not be relevant.

Student makes little or none critical thinking insights, does not quote appropriate authors, and does not provide valid sources.

Communication (20%)

Student communicates their ideas extremely clearly and concisely, respecting the time limit and other formalities.

Student communicates their ideas clearly and concisely, respecting the time limit and other formalities.

Student communicates their ideas with some clarity and concision. It may be slightly over or under the time limit. Some formalities are missing.

Student communicates their ideas in a somewhat unclear and unconcise way. It is over or under the time limit and formalities are not respected.
