Proposal of a new product or service of the new company division
Strategic plans always contain elements such as the mission, values, and the vision statements. Ideally, every firm today has a mission statement, vision statement, as well as the description of its key core values. The mission of the organization is describing who the organization is and where it is located. Values statement is giving the description of what the organization believes in and how it will behave. On the other hand, vision provides the clear picture of the organization, for example, the future plans as it offers the direction of the organization. Vision challenges and inspires the employees (Mckeown, 2014).
Strategic planning plays an important role towards a success of any business and it is crucial for the organization to develop a strategic plan that can be used towards achieving the success. It is the responsibility of the organizational management to get rid of some pitfalls such as neglecting of particular needs of the firm because this forms the roadmap for attaining the success (Olsen, 2012). Not all the organizations develop or are capable of upholding their value statement.
This paper is providing a discussion with regard to my strategic plan for the opening of the El Parish Lounge which is a sports pub, a restaurant, music, and the video game lounge. The idea of opening this lounge started when I was overseas with some of my friends stationed in the US Navy. During my stay, every time we would meet with other friends from the same sector at Al Franco Lounge especially after work. In this lounge, we would mingle together while eating, drinking, listening to music, playing video games, and watching sports while seated on sofa and recliner chairs for hours.
The difference between my proposed new products i.e. El Parish from the El Franco is that El Franco did not offer alcoholic beverages and the foods. I do believe that the idea offering similar services in the public sector would enable me to have some profits. The Mission statement of this firm is that El Parish is the venue that offers a relaxing and comfortable sports pub, restaurant, music, as well as the video games experience in an environment that makes its customers feel at home.
How the division addresses the customers' needs and achieving the competitive advantage
The competitive advantage of any firm is being provided by how unique a firm might be or the type of the unique service or the products being offered by the organization. The competitive advantage refers to the unique skills as well as the resources that work well towards implementing the strategies that competitors are unable to implement suitably. El Parish understands its competitive advantage and this is important for its success. Being capable of competing against the competitors is what drives this firm. El Parish has made its choices to be unique as well as different in activities that they are really, really perfect at and this is the areas that this firm has been putting more energy on.
This lounge is providing services that make its customers feel as if they are in their own home. Every consumer enjoys this lounge which is composed of the big television screen, comfortable couch, refrigerator which is full of the beers, table full of food, sports game, and the video games. This idea is coming from the hours being spent in relaxing and having fun at the El Parch Lounge. Despite customers being able to get these services at their homes, however, the services in this lounge is on the large scale. It is this consistent difference in El Parish services and products that customers have managed to differentiate them from those of the competitors thus influencing them more to move into and seek products or services from this firm.
Vision and the business model for the new division that precisely illustrates the decision on what I want the business to become.
The vision of the El Parish Lounge is to be the favorite place where friends or even the unfamiliar persons get the chance to connect with one another through diverse outlets, through sports and the video games. El Parish is aiming to provide the bonding experience that group of friends is always having at home while participating in the video games. This is made possible while the customers seat comfortably on the couch thus enabling them to experience it on a large scale when compared to that experience at home.
How the vision, mission, and the value of El Parish Lounge is aligning its mission and vision
The vision of the El Parish Lounge is aligning with the mission through the creating the similar feeling that can be felt at home. This is basically provided when the consumers engage themselves in the video games. Just like the same feeling at home where no man can be complete without video games, drinks, and the music; El Paris Lounge is provided all these services to ensure that its clients are satisfied.
Summary of how the vision, mission, and the values are guiding the El Parish strategic direction
The mission and the vision act as the guider with regard to the direction through which El Parish needs to take. The role of the vision and the mission is to guide El Parish strategic plan direction by separating themselves from other sporting pubs venues with the addition of permitting their patrons to participate in playing video games while seating on the couches as they enjoy their drinks, music, and the foods. To start with the mission, the services or the products being provided by this firm has to be of high quality because the mission of the firm is to provide unique and perfect services or the products to the clients.
On the other hand, the vision of the hospital demands the management to ensure El Parish offers high-quality services or the products that make it be the number one place where friends or even the strangers get the chance to connect with one another through diverse outlets, through sports and the video games. This, therefore, is essential in directing the El Parish division towards perfecting its services because it is only through this that it can manage to be the number one firm. The values of the organization are therefore important as it assists El Parish in remaining focused towards achieving the goals through providing the quality services that can be admired by many clients through their experiences.
The guiding principles as well as the values for the El Parish I Lounge in the context of the culture, social responsibility, and the ethics
The social responsibility and the morals are important to any organization that tries to enter into the business sector. It is also important for the firms that attempt to manage extreme environs in specific business and area (Gebler, 2013). El Parish is planning to operate in a view of its qualities and the morals that includes admiration for the consumer demands and the goals, providing quality admiration, product or services, and experience, as well as making a society whereby everyone visiting the lounge feels like a gang.
El Parish is also planning to respect and appreciate its representatives, differentiate their qualities as well as the pitfalls, and mentor as well as train them. The clients would also have access to best experience conceivable as they go to the organizational foundation. The organization would be more focusing on improving on the consumers' desires through listening to the employees and the clients' input and actualizing creative and better strategies to attain the demands as well as correct the concerns.
The organization would be operating in a moral, legit way by focusing on the standard of providing amazing administration and items to the supporters whilst offering an incomparable workplace to the representatives. We would assume the accountability and responsibility for all the duties, operations, hazards, and the preferences made by the firm and the workplace. The management standards of this firm would be money related center as well as the customers' loyalty. More focus will be put on becoming more productive for all the partners as well as on the ways of surpassing the desires of the consumers to guarantee beneficial development.
